“Hidden Mirrors: The Narrative of Two Worlds, A Thousand Perspectives”
This collection is an inquisitive journey into the heart of two parallel worlds, each narrating a different story of presence and absence, order and chaos, and inner calm versus turmoil. The textured grain and specific colours of the analogue photography serve not just as a technique, but as a vehicle for penetrating the invisible layers of the human psyche; where every object and every corner echoes the mood of its unseen inhabitants.
On one side, a reflection of an absent presence manifests itself; spaces defined by recurring details and precise order, inviting contemplation on the superficial conformity of life and raising the question of what is concealed behind the façade of apparent serenity. On the other side, a world of visual density and disarray emerges; spaces that speak not merely of physical clutter, but of an inner storm and quiet confusion. Even the external views, which hint at life’s connection to the surrounding environment, emphasize the broad impact of environmental factors on the psyche.
Yet, the climax of this narrative lies in the final images, where perspective and viewer judgment become the central subject. These frames, utilizing contrast and the alteration of viewpoint, remind the viewer that no reality is absolute, and every gaze reveals only a fraction of the truth. This collection teaches us that when confronting any scene, we can look from the side of the “perpetrator” or the “victim.” This is not a story, but a profound call for self-awareness; to question the direction of our gaze and the perspective of our thought before passing judgment.
